This Week at Mortgages in Lincoln: Fresh Starts, Fixing Rates and Holiday Plans

Mortgages in Lincoln

The changing seasons have brought a wave of fresh enquiries, new learning and holiday excitement. From shared ownership applications to mortgage strategy and some much-needed sunshine, here is what the team has been up to this week.

Sarah
Sarah supported a client this week with their very first shared ownership purchase. She helped complete a housing association application, including a detailed budget planner, and only needed to make one small amendment. It was a smooth process and a great step forward for someone taking their first steps on the property ladder.

Carrie
It has been a hectic time recently, but Carrie has reason to feel a bit more relaxed now. Although her current mortgage deal is not due to expire until the end of October, Amy was able to secure a new interest rate before the recent rise. If rates drop again before the new deal begins, the team will be ready to switch her across to the lower rate.
On a personal note, after a summer that did not quite go to plan, Carrie and her family are now looking forward to a well-earned break in search of some winter sun.

Amy
With Colin away on holiday this week, Amy has been holding the fort and managing both her own and Colin’s workloads. Next week it is her turn to head off on holiday with a well-deserved break to Malta.
In the meantime, she has been busy helping both first-time buyers and home movers. Now that the summer holidays are over and the cooler weather has arrived, enquiries have picked up again.
Amy also had a great meeting with BM Solutions this week. They shared some useful insights into their new limited company mortgage offerings, giving Amy even more tools to help our clients find the right fit.

If you are planning a move, reviewing your mortgage deal or exploring shared ownership, we are here to help you find the right path forward.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
