In memory of Colin Baxter

In memory of Colin Baxter

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Colin Baxter passed away peacefully at home on 25th February 2026 following a short illness. He was 68 years old.

Colin led Mortgages in Lincoln for many years and built a business that was trusted and respected by so many clients across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. He was known not only for his knowledge and professionalism, but also for the genuine care he showed to everyone he helped.

Colin was a much loved husband to Val and a proud dad to Rachel and David. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and the many clients whose lives he touched.

The team at Mortgages in Lincoln remains in place and is committed to continuing the work that Colin started, supporting clients with the same care, honesty and dedication that he was known for.

Most importantly, a celebration of Colin’s life will take place at Ropsley Village Hall on Monday 16th March 2026 at 12pm, followed by a private burial at Manthorpe Parish Cemetery.

Everyone is welcome to attend the service and stay afterwards for refreshments at Ropsley Village Hall, Braceby Road, Ropsley, Grantham, NG33 4BN.

Guests are kindly asked to wear a splash of colour in Colin’s memory.
