As the darker nights roll in and the festive season edges closer, we are continuing to support

on this week.
Colin
Colin has been helping clients make meaningful changes to their mortgage this week. One
client wanted to reduce their mortgage term to 10 years, and Colin worked through the
numbers to make sure it was affordable and achievable.
He is also assisting a family who have inherited a home, helping them with the legal and
financial steps involved in transferring the property into a single name. These situations can
be complex, but Colin is always happy to guide families through the process.
Amy
Amy had a really insightful meeting this week with one of our lenders, Pepper Money.
Learning more about what each lender offers helps us provide the most suitable options for
each client’s circumstances.
She has also been shadowing Colin and sitting in on various meetings. These included
looking at switching an interest-only mortgage to a repayment mortgage, and speaking with
a returning client who is coming to the end of their fixed deal in January. Amy found it
especially interesting to see just how varied Colin’s day can be and how different each
enquiry is.
Carrie
Carrie has been working closely with our IT support team to make it easier for clients to
provide their documents. The preferred format is always PDF, as photos or screenshots are
not always acceptable to lenders.
Whether you use an iPhone or Android, there are built-in scanning options that allow you to
send documents in the right format quickly and easily. As always, Carrie is working behind
the scenes to make the process as smooth as possible.
Sarah
It is that time of year when the question we hear most often is, “Will we be in before
Christmas?”
Sarah has been managing expectations carefully, as the answer depends on how quickly
everyone in the chain can move. She is doing her part by chasing solicitors and keeping
clients updated at every stage.
