This Week at Mortgages in Lincoln

It has been another busy week here at Mortgages in Lincoln as we help clients prepare for
the months ahead. The seasons might be changing, but our team continues to focus on
helping people achieve their home and financial goals, whether that is moving, remortgaging
or protecting what matters most.

Colin
Colin has been speaking with lots of clients who are already preparing to move next year.
With 2026 shaping up to be a potentially good time to sell, many homeowners are starting to
plan early and explore their options.
He also helped one client remortgage so that his long-term partner could be added to both
the mortgage and the deeds. This gave them shared ownership and peace of mind for the
future.
In addition, Colin has been looking at ways to raise funds for a client who has the opportunity
to buy into the company he works for. It is an exciting step that could open up new financial
opportunities for him.

Carrie
Carrie has been focusing on the Health and Safety side of her role this week. She has been
reviewing how even small changes can make a big difference to the business, our
employees and our visitors. It is a great reminder that a safe, comfortable environment helps
our team deliver the best possible service to our clients.

Amy
The festive “C” word has officially been mentioned in the office. Amy has been busy
organising annual leave requests as Christmas approaches, and we will soon be releasing
our opening hours for the holiday period so you can plan your appointments with us.
She has also sent out more reminders to clients whose fixed rate mortgage deals are due to
expire between now and December. If that is you, keep an eye on your emails. Reviewing
your options early can help you secure a better deal and avoid any surprises when your rate
changes.

Sarah
It is truly autumn here at the office, and Sarah has noticed it too. The heating is on and it is
dark by the time we leave. She has been busy handling several completions this week,
making sure all of her clients’ protection policies are in place and ready to start at the right
time.

Looking ahead as we move closer to the end of the year, it is a good time to check your mortgage deal,
review your protection and start planning for any changes you want to make in 2026.
Whether you are thinking about moving, remortgaging or buying your first home, our team is
always here to help.
