The Bank Holiday sunshine gave us all a well-earned break, but now we are back to doing
what we do best, helping clients with life’s big (and small) decisions. From beachside
meetings to thoughtful thank-yous, here is a look at what the team has been up to.
Colin
Colin is leading the charge when it comes to flexible working. This week, he held a video
meeting with one couple who were in their holiday apartment in Turkey, and another while
the clients were sat on Skegness beach, children building sandcastles in the background.
He also helped a client work through whether it made sense to make an offer on a new
property before receiving an offer on their current home. Advice like this can really make a
difference, especially in a fast-moving market.
Amy
Amy enjoyed a lovely Bank Holiday catching up with friends and family, and now she is
powering through a short but productive week. She has been booking in appointments for
first-time buyers and preparing for her final exam and interview. Fingers crossed she will be
officially CAS qualified by the weekend. Either way, there is a bottle of prosecco with her
name on it.
The team also had a surprise visit from a very grateful client who dropped by with flowers,
chocolates and, yes, more prosecco. Gestures like this always mean the world to us and are
a reminder of why we love doing what we do.
On a more practical note, Amy was delighted to receive confirmation that a provider has paid
out on a fracture claim for a client just eight days after submission. These types of quick and
meaningful outcomes show just how important protection can be, offering peace of mind
when life takes an unexpected turn.
Sarah
Sarah made the most of the long weekend, celebrating her eldest son’s birthday with a
sunny BBQ. With more big birthdays coming up in the family, an 18th, a 50th and an 85th,
the next couple of months are looking busy and eventful.
This week, she has been focused on getting solicitor updates so we can keep our clients
well-informed and cases on track. She has also been working on protection for clients with
completions coming up. It is always a good feeling to get cover in place before moving day
arrives.
We always aim to be flexible, friendly and thorough, no matter what stage of the journey you
are at. Whether you are applying for your first mortgage, reviewing your protection, or just
want to ask a few “what if” questions, we are here to help.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
Until next time,
