Hello everyone. It has been another busy and rewarding week here at Mortgages in Lincoln, with the team working hard to support clients in all sorts of situations. Here’s what we have been up to.
Colin
“This week I have been helping a client remortgage their home to raise funds for the purchase of a buy to let property. It is always rewarding to assist clients who are looking to expand their property portfolio and make sure the arrangement is affordable and structured in the right way. I have also worked with another client to reduce their mortgage term down to just 5 years, which will allow them to be mortgage free much sooner than they expected.”

“I am one week into a busy period, managing Colin’s, Sarah’s, my own, and the Admin inbox. My emails have been very busy but I am trying hard to get to people as quickly as possible and keep up with phone calls too. I will be very relieved to see my colleagues back next week.
There has been lots happening in Colin and Sarah’s absence. We have had some of our lovely clients move into their new homes and lots of new customers looking to buy their first home. I am almost at the point of signing off my CAS (Competent Adviser Status), which is exciting.
This week I have submitted an excellent HSBC deal for a client with a rate below 4%, helped with an enquiry about trust forms for a life insurance policy, completed several recommendation reports, and chased solicitors so our clients are kept in the loop at every stage.”

“We have nearly made it Amy and Lara. What a couple of weeks it has been while our lovely colleagues have been enjoying some sunshine and sending us photographic evidence. It has been busy and enjoyable but I am looking forward to having the full team back together next week so we can help even more clients with their mortgage and protection needs.”
Lara
“With some of the team on annual leave this week I have really tried to step up to help out. We have managed to secure a mortgage offer for new clients who have a limited financial footprint as they have only lived in the UK for 2 years. It was so exciting to tell them they can now start looking for their dream home. We have also been able to reduce mortgage rates for some clients so I have been sharing plenty of good news this week. I wonder how long I can keep that up for.”
