Hello from all of us at Mortgages in Lincoln. Another busy and rewarding week has flown by, and we have had the privilege of helping more amazing clients move a step closer to their property and lifestyle goals. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at what has been happening at the office:
Colin
This week, I worked with a first-time buyer who had a small default on their credit file from a mobile phone provider. These situations can seem daunting, but with over 40 years in the business, I know where to look for lenders who are more flexible and understanding. We found a solution that works for them, and they are now well on their way to owning their first home.
I also helped some existing clients with a remortgage to release equity. Their dream? A brand-new kitchen, complete with all the bells and whistles. It is always fulfilling to help clients make improvements that truly transform their homes and their daily lives.
And a personal highlight this week: we helped a first-time buyer secure a mortgage at age 62. It just goes to show, it is never too late to start a new chapter. Helping clients of all ages reach their home-owning goals is what keeps this job so meaningful.
*Equity Release will reduce the value of your estate and can affect your eligibility for means tested benefits.*

It has been another extremely busy week in the office. I have been full-on processing documents for both new and existing clients, keeping everything moving smoothly behind the scenes. I am also settling into my new role as Health and Safety coordinator for the office, which is an exciting challenge I am embracing with enthusiasm.

Enquiries have been pouring in this week from both returning clients and brand-new faces looking to take their first steps. I have been busy handling those requests and making sure we are getting people booked in and looked after as quickly as possible. It is always exciting when the phone keeps ringing because it means more people are turning to us for advice they can trust.
We love sharing a glimpse of what we are working on because it reflects the range of people we help, from young first-time buyers to experienced homeowners making home improvements or navigating later-life mortgages.
If you have mortgage questions, whether you are just starting out or have something more complex in mind, give us a ring or pop into the office for a chat. We are always here to help.
