Hello everyone! As we ease into the end of May with the promise of summer on the horizon, it’s been another lively and fulfilling week here at Mortgages in Lincoln. Whether it’s helping families into their first homes or keeping the office ticking over smoothly, the team has been busy doing what we do best. Here’s a peek behind the scenes.
Colin
Colin’s week has been packed with impact. He was honoured to speak at an industry conference on the importance of critical illness cover, sharing real-life experiences and how we’ve supported our clients through the claims process. It’s a powerful reminder of why protection matters.
Back in the office, he’s arranged a mortgage for home movers with just a 5% deposit, helped a couple exercising their Right to Buy their council home, and, as always, supported several first-time buyers in taking their first steps onto the property ladder. Colin finds real joy in helping people secure homes that are right for them and financially sustainable.
Amy
This week marked Amy’s first full week back after taking her first break in eight months. After a lovely holiday in the New Forest, she returned to a very busy office, filled with emails, client queries, and appointments. She also completed her second mortgage appointment as a new adviser, which is a fantastic milestone.
Amy has been involved in meeting potential candidates for a new role we’re hoping to fill. To top it all off, we ended the week with a lovely surprise: a beautiful hamper from Betty’s Tearooms, gifted by one of our grateful clients.
Sarah
Sarah has had a particularly busy week handling lots of completions. She’s been working hard to get protection in place for our clients so they can enjoy peace of mind in their new homes. She’s also glad to have Amy back in the office to share the busy workload and keep everything running smoothly.
Carrie
Carrie has recently taken on the responsibility for Health and Safety in the office. It’s a new challenge, but she’s steadily getting to grips with the role and embracing her added responsibilities. It’s great to see team members grow into new areas.
